ABOUT THE PROJECT
With this project photographer Pieter De Vries brings a hommage to the rich Belgian Jazz scene. In this unique time peace, he follows the Belgian jazz scene up close and personal during the year 2019 (just months before time stopped for a while for a lot of the musicians).
From living legends such as Philip Catherine to upcoming young powerhouses as Hendrik Lasure.

'Big Jazz In Little Belgium' (ISBN 9789463963053) was published as a coffe tablebook with a selection of more than 150 photo's in a limited edition of 200 copies.
